Saleha Mirza

I am an enthusiastic and hardworking individual, currently in my final year studying at Birmingham City University on the Media & Communications, (Public Relations) degree and I am due to graduate in July 2020.

Throughout my university experience, I have had the opportunity to delve into various different areas of the media including Public Relations, Journalism and Social Media. During my studies I have created in depth PR campaigns and proposals, produced and pitched communication plans and managed social media platforms. By studying these various different areas of the media, it has enabled me to broaden my knowledge and skillset and has therefore led me to discover a particular passion for a future career in Public Relations. 

To reinforce the knowledge and skills I have acquired at university, I have undertaken various work experience placements. During these placements I have had the opportunity to take what I have learnt throughout the course and apply it to a live client brief and other tasks at PR agencies in Birmingham. I have experience in writing press releases, blog posts and social media content plans. 

I am currently completing my final year Major Project and looking to secure a graduate position at a PR agency.
